Solve the problem of long URLs breaking up in emails

I'm sure you've experienced sending an email to someone (or a group/list) where you offer a URL, and someone receiving it complains "you're link is broken". But the problem is just that their mail program split the line. Here's an easy solution.

You may not think about this if you only receive faxes on paper, but if you send them to someone receiving them digitally, you could make their life easier if you take care to send them right-side-up. Let me explain.

After enjoying Google Desktop's ability to search my local machine so quickly and effectively, it started failing recently with "page cannot be displayed" errors. Happened to you? Various remedies have been suggested. I wanted to share some thoughts.
