Hey Charlie - question for you. One of the things that drove me crazy about Ent Manager was that if you worked with a remote db, and the connection was "not so fast", Ent Manager would be very flakey. What do I mean by that? Imagine you want to simply delete a server. You right click, and Ent Manger says, "I can't show you a right click menu until after I speak to the remote server". So you wait. And wait. And if you move your mouse, you are screwed since most likely Windows will think you wanted to ignore the right mouse action. When I changed jobs and had to remove a bunch of servers it was hell.

Hmm. I never experienced that. Are you asking if that problem might be resolved in 2k5? I'm afraid I just don't know. Sorry. :-)

Got a question for you Charlie. Is there a way to add new keyboard combinations to SQL Server 2005? Thanks

I'm afraid I just don't know, Doug. Sorry. I was just sharing that link as I'd found it and thought some would enjoy it.
